A click, a light.

Cobwebs entangle, become sundered.

I'm back motherfuckers. Time to get back in touch with my artistic roots.

With my trusty pencils, pens, and scanner...

...scanner? Friend? No... NO! It's fucking broken! Don't leave me!

I can't believe my scanner doesn't work any longer. I suppose I won't be back per se with pencil/pen until I can afford a new piece of machinery. I'd like to dedicate a moment of silence to that scanner. She's gotten me through many years of artwork, faithfully bringing my visions to the digital web. All the work you see was brought through that scanner.

*sigh* I suppose being an artist I've developed a fondness to that piece of equipment... and like any tool of the trade... it becomes part of you and your method of expression. It feels like I've lost a good friend... or even a limb in a sense.

I've recently started drawing again, finishing a commission. But she's not there to herald this new era of mine. This breaks my heart in a way... *sigh*

But I shall press on.
